Who's behind all this?
Just me, Amy Flower. That's kind of me above. Well, technically it's Mii, but whatever. I've written for several Australian  entertainment publications over several years - including Official PlayStation Magazine Australia, Ultimate Nintendo, Tech Living, What DVD, Total Rock, gameplayer.com.au, some Fairfax papers and some street press. I was also the editor of Blockbuster Interaction for some seven years (with a break in the middle somewhere), as well as Video Ezy's magazine for a couple of years. I'm currently the online editor at STACK, and am very happy about that.

What's this Gamesblip thing then?
Just a place to chuck my opinions on various videogames, but in handy bite-sized reviews for busy people - hence the 'blip'. Kinda like 'blipverts' in Max Headroom, but not as seizure-inducing. Yep, if you've got very little in the way of patience to read stuff, then these reviews might be your thing. If you want encyclopaedias of in-depth analysis on every facet of a game then fly away now my pretty, for you're not going to like it here as I try to err on the side of fun rather than fan-gal. That the site is also but a mere infinitesimal blip on the rather vasticular landscape of videogames websites was also not lost when deciding upon this particular name.

Why's it so green?
Because Kermit was wrong. It's not hard at all!

What's with the headline?
To quote one Ian 'Molly' Meldrum, "do yourself a favour" (or, sadly, in latter years, "deryerslverfrvr") and get yourself the album 'Doolittle' by Pixies. You won't regret it.
