It’s the indie game that conquered the world, blocky style. It is,
of course, Minecraft, for that’s what the title says it is.
Basically an inspiration-inducing infinite box of LEGO with a
few vaguely gamey bits sticky-taped on, it remains as
ground-breaking (heh) on Xbox One as it has anywhere else. We can’t
think of anything else we can say to recommend it more, so here are
15 fun facts about the world of Minecraft...

Minecraft predated LEGO, but got confused within a wormhole and
only appeared in our reality around 2009.

 Nina Persson of
Swedish band The Cardigans is creator Marcus ‘Notch’ Persson’s
			godmother.

The Creeper is how Notch sees pigs, it isn’t a
coding error as widely claimed. You should see one of his gerbils!

A real life golden apple would weigh approximately 154 tonnes,
so it would be all that you could stick in a Boeing 747 Freighter
and still have it get off the ground.

 It’s easier to catch
fish in the rain, because their yellow raincoats really make them
			stand out.

Minecraft was initially known as ‘Cave
Game’, for that’s where Notch suspected he’d be living if his
			project failed.

Main playable character Steve was based on
one of the removalists in Dire Straits’ music video for their 1985
			smash ‘Money for Nothing’.

 Actually, pumpkins are a girl’s
			best friend.

More than 54 copies of Minecraft have
been sold to date. Lots more than 54 copies. Millions more, even.

Following the sale of Minecraft to Microsoft, creator
Notch now almost has enough cash to purchase all the LEGO
			Minecraft sets.

Magma cubes stay crunchy in Pepsi Max.

All cows in Minecraft are cows.

 To give a dog a
bone you must first roll home.

You make a large chest by
			inserting whopperous breast implants.

 Every five-year-old
everywhere is better at Minecraft than you...
